The term “Ayurveda” literally means “knowledge of life”. As an holistic medical system, Ayurveda is based on a simple concept: everything that is present in the universe is found on a small scale and in variable proportions in our organism. In varying proportions, because we are all different. Ayurveda makes it possible to read this learned mixture which makes the deep nature of each one of us, and to establish in which way one functions, which are the factors which maintain us in good health or on the contrary disturb us. Whenever I apply the precepts of Ayurveda to establish the typology of a patient, I am amazed by the degree of personalization that this ancestral medicine allows, by its precision, its accuracy and its ease of implementation. . If Ayurveda has its roots in the Vedas, ancient texts from the Indian continent, what it advocates is accessible and adaptable to everyone, whatever their culture. One can really be invited into everyday life through simple gestures and habits. In my case, it guides my food choices, physical activities, or daily routine, allowing me to live as much as possible in accordance with myself and my needs. It also allows me to find phyto-therapeutic resources or manual techniques necessary for my well-being. Do not hesitate, and embark on the Ayurvedic path, go to meet your deep nature!

Ayurveda is the knowledge of ”how to live a long and healthy life”. The health of a human is a balance of his  functional energies (dosha), dhatu , mala , the physiological balance and a happy mind altogether. Every individual is unique for Ayurveda. Ayurveda guides the human to adapt to the nature. The human being a part and product of nature, must adapt to the biological cycles using the principles of Ayurveda. In case there are diseases as a result of pradnya paradh(mistake of intellect), asatmendiarth samyog( misuse of senses) and mithyayog (incorrect situation, action, season etc) ; they are treated using natural elements(plants and minerals), therapies and food. When a patient comes for treatment, a holistic approach is used to evaluate the problem, followed by a diagnosis and treatment protocol. Ayurveda believes in the integrity of life as a unit of mind -body-spirit.  “Ayu” is the mind body spirt living unit, and “ved “means the knowledge. Hence Ayurveda is a complete science of life.

In my experience, Ayurveda is a healthy living mantra for the humanity, and its principles when used with a proper understanding of the patients culture, location, age, strength, constitution etc give a complete and durable health solution

“what Ayurveda is for me.”

Ayurveda opened the window of my life to the universe. It gave meaning to everything, at every moment of life, the preciousness, the uniqueness and the sacredness of life. It taught me to feel, to feel everything about myself, about nature, about all living things and about the universe. This feeling of belonging and union, of brotherhood, of peace and of love, filled my being, replaced sadness, fear, the uncertainty of what to do and where to go. Ayurveda gave me the key to feeling and with the ability to listen, I felt the eternal and endless connection with everything and each person, plant and animal. I felt what I had to do to feel better and how I could heal myself. Ayurveda gave me the tools to implement this possibility of care which is born, I repeat, from a deep, sincere listening, without judgment: of oneself. This medicine, this philosophy, this art, made me understand that the care of the body and the mind are in each breath that we take, at every moment. Whatever we can do, we have to do it in the best possible way and that is only conceivable if you are in good psychophysical health. The body is our home, the body is the temple of our soul. I really learned to take care of it. Thanks to this awareness, I was able to start teaching Ayurveda.

Ayurveda teaches us to live cautiously, not to fall into the trap of the simplification pursued by separation. Recognize that the human being is not an entity in itself, different or predominant from the universe; recognize that the human being cannot be separated in mind, body and soul: these are the pillars of understanding and applying Ayurveda.

Rio Abierto

I approached the world of movement and massage with the Rio Abierto method.

Anita Marianna was one of my trainers in Rio Abierto massage.

Evolutionary massage is a therapeutic tool aimed at achieving a balance between the physical and spiritual spheres of the individual. It starts with the posture, the attitude that man adopts towards the environment, to make a journey through the human body.

The aim of this “loving” approach is not only the correction of a position or a defect, but a real emotional and mental transformation.
